The twelve Belgian players who have been called up to take part in the 2019 Euro have been revealed. Julie ALLEMAND has been chosen by the Belgian Cats’ selector.
The coach, Philip MESTDAGH announced the definitive line-up on Monday for the 2019 Eurobasket, which will be taking place in Latvia and Serbia from 27th June to 7th July, and it includes the captain of the Lyon women’s team. Two final preparation matches are scheduled for the Belgian Cats on Friday (9.30 in th evening in Wevelgem) and on Saturday (5 in Courtrai), against Italy. After that, the Belgians will be heading for Serbia on 24th June to take part in the Euro tournament. Belgium will be in group D in the Euro along with Russia, Belarus and Serbia, the host country.
A few weeks after getting the French championship title, Julie ALLEMAND and Marième BADIANE from the Lyon team will be present in the 2019 Euro tournament.
