IDEC SPORT RACING is off to Italy and the famous Mugello circuit. The team of three, Patrice Lafargue, Paul Lafargue and Dimitri Enjalbert will be attempting to do their best this weekend after the bad luck they had in Dubai.
IDEC SPORT RACING is heading to the Mugello region to the north of Florence. The Mercedes AMG GT3 #17 will be setting off for the second time this season in the 24 Hour Series in the A6 category. Patrice and Paul Lafargue will be back with someone they trust, Dimitri Enjalbert. The goal is simple. They want to score points. After the breakdown they suffered early on in the 24-hour Dubai event, the crew really must perform well in the pack of more than fifty cars, if they want to be in with a hope of winning the title this season.
The trio won’t be the only ones in the colours of IDEC SPORT RACING as the Porsche 991 Cup #75 will also be taking part in the SP2 category with David Abramczyk, Romain Vozniak and Stéphane Adler at the wheel. After their huge success in the 3 x 3-hour race in Dubai, David and Romain are back to see how they do in the GT.
There won’t be much rest for the IDEC SPORT team. The trials take place on Friday17th from 0915hrs to 1045hrs and will be immediately followed by the hour’s qualifier. In Dubai, Paul Lafargue achieved the best time, in spite of the presence of the former Peugeot WEC driver, Nicolas Minassian in the team. The 28-year old will be one to watch again, as the 14 bends on the 5.245 km circuit suit his GT driving.
The race will take place in two stages. The first start will be at 1400hes on Friday. The GTs will continue until 1800hrs and then start again on Saturday 18th at 1000hrs.
You can follow the race on the 24-hour website: https://www.24hseries.com/ and on the IDEC SPORT RACING facebook page.
