It took just one week for Francis Joyon and his two fellow crewmen, Corentin and Ludovic, to deliver the boat back to La Trinité-sur-Mer, her home port. After rather quiet conditions in the Mediterranean, the sailors picked up some more wind as soon as they got back in the Atlantic and had a quick trip across the Bay of Biscay. Maybe the maxi-trimaran was in a hurry to get back home after being away for almost a month.
Over the coming days, the crew will be getting some well deserved rest. Then, the IDEC SPORT team will be tackling the list of jobs to do around the boat before setting off again and training with the sole goal ahead of the Route du Rhum.
