This first day of the prologue allowed the drivers and the team to find their footing and test various setups.
During the two sessions on Monday, March 31st, car #28 finished in third place. Car #18 ranked thirteenth in the morning and twelfth in the afternoon.
A driver from each car shared their impressions.
For car #28, Dutch driver Job Van Uitert shared his thoughts:
“The first day of the prologue is done. It went well. It’s a bit tricky to find the right window to make the tires work. The car is well prepared, the team is working together, so I’m really excited. We also seem fast on the long runs. I’m curious to see how it goes this weekend.”
Rookie Mathys Jaubert drove for the first time in an ELMS session:
“The feeling is good, even though it was a complicated day. We struggled to set up the car in the morning, but it was better in the afternoon. I realized how difficult it is to drive in traffic. It’s a challenging task. You have to balance between pushing and being patient to avoid contact, but also not losing too much time. It’s one of my main focus areas. At the end of the day, I managed to do a run on fresh tires, and it just makes me want to be back in the car tomorrow.”
On day 2 of the prologue, two new track sessions are scheduled, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
