Francis Joyon, his onshore router, Marcel van Triest and the crew of five on the maxi-trimaran IDEC SPORT have taken the decision to set off on Friday morning to tackle the Jules Verne Trophy.
In heavy seas and strong winds, the crew on IDEC SPORT are determined to make this attempt and take advantage of a window of opportunity, which according to Francis Joyon looks good and should offer them a good time to the Equator.
