IDEC SPORT has been given a new look. It is now possible to visit a single platform and a new app and website to find out all the latest news about IDEC SPORT, whether in the area of sailing, motor racing or team sports.
All sorts of content have been posted on the IDEC SPORT pages: articles, videos and photos. The news is sorted into categories to make it easier to use. The design has been updated to improve your experience.
The IDEC SPORT racing and IDEC SPORT sailing websites are no longer available. You can now consult everything on six tabs on idecsport.com: sailing, motor racing, team sports, disabled sport, media library and social walls. An IDEC SPORT tab also offers you the opportunity to get to know about the IDEC Group’s involvement in sport. In the forthcoming events tab, you can see what the sportsmen and women at IDEC SPORT are about to do and therefore follow their exploits.
Get all the news about Francis Joyon and the maxi-trimaran, IDEC SPORT as he faces new challenges in Asia, and the car racing team competes in the European endurance championships, like the 24h Series (in GT) and the European Le Mans Series with two LMP2 cars. The three drivers, Paul Lafargue, Memo Rojas and Paul-Loup Chatin finished third in the 2018 championship. Over the past three years, IDEC SPORT has had the privilege of competing in the legendary Le Mans 24 Hour Race. After finishing twelfth in 2017 and retiring in 2018, IDEC SPORT hopes to make it to the podium at Le Mans in 2019.
IDEC SPORT is also involved in team sports with the Blois Football 41 club in N2, basketball with the Lyon ASVEL’s women’s team and the Poitiers Basket 86 and in Rugby with USON Nevers and the Aviron Bayonnais, who have just vwon the Pro D2 championship.
This year, the handicapped sportswoman Marie-Amélie Le Fur joined IDEC SPORT. Four times world athletics champion and twice paralympic champion, the 30-year old keeps adding to her list of achievements and is involved in federations, associations and charitable causes. In 2019, she became the ambassador for sport and health for the IDEC GROUP. This partnership naturally developed around the sporting values shared by the IDEC GROUP and Marie-Amélie Le Fur.
The IDEC SPORT app is available for iOS and Android. The tabs are similar to the website with easy access to the main sports: motor racing, sailing and team sports.
