The French athlete Emma CLAIR-DUMONT, supported by the IDEC GROUP, has now reached the summit of Mount Everest.
Climbing Mount Everest and its 8,849 metres of altitude was her dream. Emma Clair-Dumont arrived in Kathmandu, Nepal, on 11 April and achieved this sensational feat after several days of climbing. Day after day, metre after metre, in extreme conditions, Emma became, at 46 years old, the 13th French woman to climb the roof of the world.
On Thursday 12 May 2022, at 9am Nepalese time, Emma shared her GPS location with her 4,120 subscribers who follow her extraordinary adventure on her Facebook page EmmaChallenges, to announce the huge news: “I’m here !!!!!!”.
Now Emma is starting the descent. A very complicated and hard moment, because the ridge is long, dangerous and very narrow.
